When the Army approached me to create their coloring book, I was at turns excited and hesitant;
I wanted to make sure I could do it--and our troops--justice.
With encouragement from my Army-vet husband, I embarked on an 18-month-long journey of licensing, illustrating, vetting, and printing a series of images worthy of our enlisted soldiers, our retired veterans, and the friends and family who support them.
